Court dockets are records containing the complete history of every case in brief chronological entries that summarize the court proceedings. In a court docket, you will find a listing of all the parties involved in the case, the attorney, and their contact information. A court docket is also used to ensure that all parties know what has happened. Court dockets are helpful if the case has been transferred to a new district judge or if new counsel joins the case.
